Adrienne is a native New Yorker and mother of 2 young boys. After living and studying in Iowa, Colorado, Mexico and Pennsylvania, she returned to NYC in 2001 to practice speech pathology. She received her MA in Communication Science from Temple Univeristy in Philadelphia. Adrienne has worked in a variety of settings ranging from hospitals, NICU, Early Intervention, and preschools through high schools.
She was a clinical instructor at Teachers College, Columbia where she supervised student clinicians in the Speech and Hearing Clinic. She received her bilingual certification in Spanish at Teachers College in 2010. After years of experience in a variety of settings, Adrienne is focused on providing specialized service to clients in their homes. Adrienne enjoys traveling all over Manhattan to work with clients and their families. She is dedicated to providing individual services in the most natural and facilitative environment.
As parent, she appreciates the difficulty of traveling with children to appointments, and as a clinician she understands that home is the most natural and productive environment to develop speech and language. In the home, Adrienne can tailor each session to her client’s individual needs and interests, and incorporate therapy naturally into the daily routine and activities.
Adrienne enjoys working with clients of all ages, with a particular interest in early language and literacy development, children from bilingual backgrounds, and feeding and swallowing in infants and children.
